In accordance we Gina's wishes, we will be hosting a short crematorium service, followed by a thanksgiving and reception later in the day.

All of which are open to anyone who like to attend.  

We know Gina would love to have everyone together to celebrate, rather than commiserate, so please do join us to give her an amazing send off.

Dress code:  Gina has never been a fan of sombre clothes, so its only fair we respect this and be casual and colourful!

Cremation Service: 10am - 10:30am, Southampton Crematorium

Whilst masks are not a requirement, they are encouraged, as is sanitising upon entry and exit.  Please respect others and their approach to Covid precautions. 

We hope the gap between this short service and the thanksgiving services gives you time to grab some food/drink in Winchester.

Thanksgiving Service: 2pm - 3pm, Hope Church, Winchester

This is in the town centre of Winchester, and used to be a picture house.  There is a large (chargeable) car park opposite, and further parking in the Brooks Centre on the other side of the road.

There are no requirements to wear masks here, as per current government-led restrictions.  There is plenty of space in this venue, including space on the balcony, for those who wish to socially distance.  Please do use sanitise hands where possible and respect others space.

Reception/Wake: 3pm to 6pm, Mercure Wessex Hotel, Winchester

This is a short walk (5 mins) from the Hope Church, again in the town centre.  We have a spacious, private room available, with plenty of seating, where afternoon tea and sandwiches will be served.  There is a bar available should you wish for any other beverages.  This room has a wonderful view of Winchester Cathedral and has some parking available (although this is limited)

Again there are no specific requirements to wear masks or socially distance, however please do sanitise and respect others approaches to Covid precautions.

If possible, please do let Nick know on attending so we can get a good idea on numbers and make sure we have enough seats and food.
